description
The Délégation interministérielle à l'aménagement du territoire et à l'attractivité régionale (DATAR) (Interministerial delegation for regional planning and attractiveness) was a French administration responsible, from 1963 to 2014, for preparing the guidelines and implementing the national policy for regional planning and development. As part of DATAR, the Racine mission is responsible for the overall management of regional planning and environmental protection. With a view to shaping public opinion by outlining the scale of the measures being taken to develop tourism on the Languedoc coast, this brochure was published by DATAR in 1968 during the work to develop tourism on the Languedoc-Roussillon coastline.
